Essential Job Duties:

• Reporting any factors that may influence the quality and safety of the finished feed and ingredients to the immediate supervisor.
• Loading trailers and ensuring counts are correct and bags are not ripped in the loading process.
• Placing plastic, cardboard and other assigned "Sealing" items in rear of trailers as needed.
• Utilizing the inventory management system(matrix ) to" pick" orders for current trailers or to stage loads for incoming trailers.
• Receiving and unloading incoming items when assigned.
• Performing cleaning duties on a  daily basis to maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Re-bagging operations when assigned.
• Performing additional work-related duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.to a height of 48 inches continuously for the assigned work period, lifting required such as building pallet stocks.
• Understanding of feed manufacturing and mill equipment
• General knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPS) and OSHA safety requirements
• Willingness to learn and grow

 CNC Machinist/ Orchard Park, NY/ 1st Shift

An experienced CNC Machinist with programming experience is needed for a growing Orchard Park, NY Production Facility to set up, program, and operate two CNC mills to machine parts according to specifications.

Shift:

 1st: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM (Monday through Friday)

Responsibilities:

• Setting-up, programming, and operating CNC mills (Haas)
• Performing set-ups from blue prints to manufacture parts to print dimensions and tolerances
• Reading blueprints to determine product specifications and material needed
• Selecting proper tooling required to complete job
• Checking machinery and tooling as necessary
• Setting up and operating various precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, etc.
• Machine complex parts such as castings
• Creating inspection data sheets for new jobs with all applicable dimensions/tolerances/gauging to be used
• Operating lathes (Haas & Willis) and saws (DoAll)
• Driving a forklift to transport material
• Operating overhead crane
• Performing minor machine repair such as oiling or cleaning machines
• Performing additional duties as needed

Requirements:

• 5 years CNC operating experience
• CNC Machinist: 2 years programming experience (required)
• Some personal tools may be required
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Knowledge of machines and tools including drilling, tapping and layout
• Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers
• Strong math skills including ability to convert decimals to fractions
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints
• Ability to program CNC machines
