Job Description:

The diamond disc is measured, Then, it obtains a clear picture regarding the weight, shape, and clarity of the proposed polished diamond. Specialized software gives the operator options to select the shape of the diamond, depending on elimination of inclusions, and displays its market value onscreen.

In the next step, the numbers of sides and percentage of sawing and banding are selected, enabling optimal safety and finalizing minimum weight loss. The operator clicks a button and the perfect laser sawing gets started. After completion this process, the next step is to cut the rough diamond according to the plan. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Independent, safe, responsible operation of all the equipment necessary to produce super abrasives and related products within specified work assignment.

• Operate automated machinery, presses, lathes, mills, furnaces, wire EDMs, and robotic equipment.

• Operate chemical processing equipment and handle hazardous chemicals.

• Operate and interpret results from measuring tools, gauges, scales, microscopes, go/no go gauges, and visual standards.

• Perform minor tooling changes, setup and troubleshooting on production equipment.

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating material handling equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking and counting merchandise in a Distribution environment. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift and may also be required to perform order filler or order checker duties in addition to his or her own.

Location: Huntley Road, Columbus Start Rate: $17.50 - $18.50

Forklift Driver Schedule: DAY 6:00AM - 6:00PM OR NIGHT 6:00PM - 6:00AM

Week one: Monday - Tuesday - Friday - Saturday Week two: Sunday Wednesday - Thursday

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to storage locations
• Stacks and stores merchandise in designated areas using a forklift, clamp, push-pull or other powered equipment
• Pulls and prepares products for shipment Ensures that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped
• Performs picking duties in an efficient manner meeting customer service standard
• Moves product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers
• Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
• Maintains appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory control and security Assists in physical inventories
