Remedy Intelligent Staffing has partnered with our client to hire individuals who are looking to work for a great company to join as a Forklift Operator. This is a temp-to-hire, career opportunity.

Shift/Hours: 1^st shift. 8AM – 4:30PM.

Pay: $18/hour

Job Responsibilities:

As a Forklift Operator, you will check inbound and outbound products and ensure they are free of damage. Your primary duty will be to load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using power equipment.

Driver responsibilities:

• Pulling and preparing product for shipment.

• Keeping appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.

• Ensuring product code dates are properly recorded and products match customer requirements.

• Complying with all OSHA and MSDS standards.

• Verifying load accuracy, checking the load count, stability, and product damage, reporting any variances as necessary.

• Changing equipment battery or LP tank, and monitoring power source when necessary.

• Maintaining the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.

• Assisting in physical inventories.

• Completing daily inspection of equipment.

Job Requirements:

You will need good communication skills and the ability to read, understand, and follow directions as an Operator. You must be able to follow work procedures and safety rules, and have a basic familiarity with working in a warehouse.

Other requirements:

*STEEL-TOED BOOTS REQUIRED*

Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.

Ability to work specific shifts.

Ability to operate the electric pallet jack and RF scanner.

High school diploma or equivalent, a plus.

Six months of warehouse and forklift experience, preferred.
