Remedy Intelligent Staffing is hiring for our client, a leader in copper and metal manufacturing, and they are looking to fill Industrial Foundry Associates/Caster Positions in Cedar Rapids Iowa.

Purpose: Responsible for operation of furnace, including regulation of energy to melt and cast metal, observe color and fluidity of molten bath and appearance of metal.

Shift/Hours: 3rd shift. 7PM - 7AM

Pay: $21.48/hour

Job Duties: Control, monitor, and operate casting station equipment from furnace to set up to completion of casting. Review schedules to determine work sequence. Review equipment check list Any other assigned duties

Job requirements:

• Must be able to lift/exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and up to 75lbs constantly.
• Must be able to work in hot environments
• Must be able to speak, write, type, and read in English
