Shifts: 1st Shift - 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday-Friday)

Pay:$50,000-$55,000 based on experience

Job Duties of the Procurement Specialist:

• Place PO’s with the vendors and performs the required follow up to assure timely delivery of product.
• Support day-to-day activities addressing NCMR, SCAR’s and supports 8D.
• Identify requirements for order fulfilment and sequence orders to insure minimal downtime.
• Lead regular scheduling meetings with production leadership
• Responsible for transfer and shipment of materials between facilities and warehousing locations 
• Communicate with customers on status of orders and estimated completion
• Implement schedule changes as needed and coordinate with internal teams
• Other duties assigned

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a business/engineering related field
• Minimum of 3-5 year’s sourcing experience preferred
• Must be computer proficient in MS Window, Blueprint and technical drawings. 
• Knowledge of MRP systems
• Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks/projects
• Understand basic financial statements Perform financial stability analysis of suppliers to be used in supplier selection
