Immediate Warehouse openings in Aakron NY!

Shift: 7am-3:30pm M-F

Pay: $16-$20 DOE

Job Description:

This warehouse clerk position receives, stores and distributes material, product, and equipment within the NY facility, which ensures accuracy and timeliness of all of the job functions.

• Assist shipping and receiving departments when unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to production areas for processing.

Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.

• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, and color or product code.

• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.

• Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.

• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.

• Assist in counting of physical inventory.

• Weigh and count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.

• May be assigned to multiple buildings for additional duties as needed.

• Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.

• Sweep, dust, and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times and to ensure that proper safety standards are met or exceeded.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and safety standards regarding proper safety and personal protective equipment.

• Other duties as assigned
