A full-time Programmer/Drafter will be responsible for drafting and NC Programs for laser and waterjet cutting applications in the sheet metal industry. The applicant would be responsible for creating work orders for production of metal fabricated parts and should have a base knowledge of AutoCad2013. Other qualifications that would be of benefit but not required are: nesting and flat lay-out programs, G-Code, and Microsoft Office. Pay will Depend on Experience with a Benefits package.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of previous Programming/Drafting
• Attention to detail
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Able to read and interpret blueprints/drawings
• Advanced math skills
• Analytical skills
• Waterjet cutting
• Base knowledge of AutoCad2013
• Nesting and flat lay-out programs
• Microsoft Office
• G-code

Job Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines
• Follow standard work instructions as assigned
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment
• Inspect, operate, or test machinery to diagnose malfunctions
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery
• May work individually or in a team environment
