Bakery Associate

2^nd Shift 2PM – 11PM

Temp to hire or Seasonal shifts Available! Local Food Manufacturer (fortune 500 company) is currently seeking BAKERY ASSOCIATE to work at a processing facility in Fort Myers Florida. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated- fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to be available to work weekdays and weekends, perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment. Following strict quality and safety standards is a must.

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidates must be available to work a schedule that includes weekends & weekends
• Ability to lift 45-50 LBS and stand for 8 + hours
• Ability to work in a hot or cold environment
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred

*This position is at a location that requires a Background check (7 years) and Drug screening prior to start

Qualifications:

• Able to work within a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds- bend- and push and pull carts.
• Ability to work in a cold environment- 40 – 45 degrees F.
• Ability to grasp objects with both hands.
• Ability to stand for a period up to 5 hours or more per day
• Ability to work weekdays and weekends
• Pervious Food Service or Production Experience helpful but not necessary

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Ensures all work in process meets he quality specifications.
• Places product in the product tray in a consistent manner ensuring the appropriate amount of product is assigned to each tray.
• Follow Safety Guidelines in accordance with Safe Practices and Job Safety Analysis. Participates in the work Safe Process Use gender neutral language.
• Follows Good Manufacturing Practices.

Location Overview:

• 200 Employees over three shifts
• The only facility that produces the bagel bite brand
• Developed in Fort Myers
• In the present facility since 1990
