Job Summary: Provide high quality customer service by cashing out orders, responding to inquiries about products and/or services, and resolving customer complaints. Communicate regularly with internal staff to ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Respond to customer inquiries at front counter and via phone. Provide requested information regarding product offering, pricing, availability, promotions, delivery schedules, order status and general assistance to meet current or potential customer requirements. Proactively use suggestive selling techniques
  • Provide support to coworkers and perform related duties as required to meet department and or company objectives. Examples include keeping Sales and Purchasing Managers advised of competitive products and prices, attending department meetings, etc.
  • Resolve customer problems and needs in a friendly, accurate and timely manner. Such duties include researching part numbers for price quotes via various vendors and suppliers, handling returned merchandise issues, warranty claims and the like
  • Maintain good housekeeping in counter areas, including keeping product catalogs and price lists up-to-date
  • Service and load equipment/products as required

 

 

Job Requirements

Have previous clerical experience

Able to work 8-10 hours

Available for OT if needed

Able to lift up to 35lbs unassisted
