Remedy Intelligent Staffing is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for a fantastic Fabrication Company in Tyler, TX!
Pay: $15.00/hr or DOE Shift: 5am to 3:30pm
Position Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector works under the Quality Manager to improve product quality.
Essential Job Duties
Ensure that the quality check procedures are followed by performing first article inspections.
Inspect and measure items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment and functional operation, according to drawings, product data sheets, industry standards, and other specifications, using precision measuring instruments and devices.
Complete all required paperwork, in a correct and timely manner.
Create documentation for quality issues and the corrections taken.
Educate the production team on quality issues.
Check incoming 3rd party orders against the packing list, traveler and drawing to confirm the order is correct.
Sign off on correct packing lists and turn then in to Purchasing.
Place traveler with the parts for production.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
Proficient with Microsoft Windows or similar operating systems.
Must be detail oriented.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Selection/use of monitor/measuring equipment.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide Annual Vision screening.
Able to follow instructions as directed by the supervisor.
Ability to stand and walk for 10 hours per day.
Lift up to 50lbs.
Steel Toed boots are required.
