Medical community leader in South Omaha is looking for bilingual compassionate and patient focused leaders to join their team starting immediately! These positions assist patients with the overall process of program enrollment.

Monday – Friday day time schedules (some weekends needed with notice) | $17-19/hr DOE

Responsibilities of a Patient Care Advocate include:

• Screening and enrollment of patients into various financial programs depending on state, local, and federal programs
• Assist patients in understanding community services available through program agencies and schedule appointments to meet based on needs
• Partner with billing departments to meet patient financial requests
• Review medical records and document treatment plans, notate follow ups, and report progress
• Confirm patient appointments and follow up with them prior to check in
• Assist with pre-check up financial documents

Qualifications of Patient Care Advocate include:

• MUST be bilingual in Spanish and English
• Associates degree healthcare or finance preferred, not required
• Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking needed
• Experience in medical environment or client support experience required
