We're Hiring an Accountant for a Client on the East Side of Des Moines, IA!
Starting Pay: $45,760 – $49,920/year
Hours: 7:30/8:00am-4:30/5:00pm
Accountant Duties:
- Prepares invoices for customers, reconciles customer invoices to customer reporting and collections from customers
- Performs research as necessary on misapplied payments, short-paid invoices, and coordinates with corporate cash collections to ensure that payments and invoicing are applied correctly
- Oversees time entry and the reconciliation of the time entry
- Reconciles payroll registers to the P&L statement to verify the accuracy of payroll
- Reconciles revenue for the P&L statement, reviews expenses for accuracy, and verifies monthly inventory reports and statistical entries for product costing

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Ability to work longer hours if needed
- Oracle, Kronos and Microsoft knowledge preferred
