Storeroom Clerk Needed! Great Schedule Seeking reliable candidate.

Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:00 

Weekly Pay! $17/hour 

Summary/Objective: Storeroom Clerk needed. Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, supplies, and other items from the store room.  Maintain accurate records of inventory.

Storeroom Clerk is a physically demanding position. It requires lifting 20-40 lbs. It requires some forklift operation. Storeroom clerk will receive, count, and store stock items and records data manually.

As a storeroom clerk your essential job functions may include but not  limited to:

  1. Compares office inventory records with sales orders, invoices, or requisitions to verify accuracy and receipt of items.
  2. Locates and selects material, supplies, tools, equipment, or other articles from stock or issues stock item to workers. 
  3. Packs, unpacks, and marks stock items, using identification tag, stamp, electric marking tool, or other labeling equipment.
  4. Determines method of storage, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capacity of facility.
  5. Delivers products, supplies, and equipment to designated area, and determines sequence and release of back orders according to stock availability.
  6. Verifies computations against physical count of stock, adjusts for errors, or investigates discrepancies.
  7. Prepares documents, such as inventory balance, price lists, shortages, expenditures, and periodic reports, using computer, or calculator.
  8. Prepares documents to purchase new or additional stock and recommends disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock.
  9. Confers with engineering, purchasing personnel, maintenance personnel and vendors regarding procurement, stock availability, and component obsolescence.
  10. Examines and inspects stock items for wear or defects, reports damage to supervisor, and disposes of or returns items to vendor.
  11. Adjusts, repairs, assembles, or prepares products, supplies, equipment, or other items, according to specifications or customer requirements.
  12. Assists other stockroom or storage yard employees.
  13. Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and instruments, and storage areas to ensure compliance to safety regulations.
