Pay is $19.00/hour for this role. 

Monday - Friday hours - 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Responsibilities of Underwriting Support include:

• Connect with applicants to collect important, highly sensitive medical information
• Enter information into several different computer systems while on the phone, as well as in post-call wrap up
• Analyze information provided to make sound decisions regarding coverage and benefits
• Process each case, working with the applicant as their case manager (NOT a sales role!)
• Collect necessary documents as needed to assist in determining risk

Must have great attention to detail, be highly reliable, and have a willingness to learn new tasks.  

Qualified applicants should have experience making decisions in a professional setting, providing high-quality customer service over the phone, and have the ability to work efficiently in a production-based environment.  Exposure and experience with medical terminology a big benefit!

Computer skills and/or prior office skills are very helpful for on-the-job success!  Minimum typing requirements must be met.

MUST be able to provide predictable attendance each day for work.
