Remedy Intelligent Staffing is seeking Production Technician II – 2nd Shift/Chemical Operations for our national Manufacturing client company located in Exton, PA!

Monday to Friday (Full Time)

Temporary to Hire Positions

2nd Shift: 2 Pm -10:30 Am (OT)

Pay:  $26.35 Depending on Experience /hr.

Production Technician Responsibilities:

• Performing hands-on synthesis of DSM Biomedical products in accordance with the DSM Quality System and established operating procedures.
• Process support (+50% trained on some aspects of multiple processes).  Can handle processes such as reactors, purification, slurries, adjustments, running extruders independently.
• Hazardous waste non-HAZWOPER required.  Support Sr. Tech, Chemist and Engineer activities Provide sifting, packaging, extruding support as required.
• Deals with somewhat complex problems that must be broken down into manageable pieces. Sees relationships between problem components and prioritizes them. Utilizes knowledge, experience, and available resources, including process engineer and chemist to find solutions.
• May participate in development of improvements and help implement change. 
• Collaborates with team; shares relevant information with those who may be affected by decisions. Participates in formal or informal group problem solving for immediate issues.

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Requires knowledge of learned routines, procedures, practice and more complex skills.  Training in certain procedures or equipment required.
• 2+ years relevant experience in a chemical manufacturing process operation.
• Experience with chemical safety and hygiene to support general manufacturing processes and demonstrated ability to learn and work safely.
• Good documentation and communication skills required and aptitude and ability to follow written technical instructions.
• Punctual, self-starter, dependable and detail oriented. 
• Accustomed in using MS Word, Excel and Outlook
