Industrial Maintenance Manager

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Pay: $105,000/annually

This is a direct hire.

Job Summary:

The Industrial Maintenance Manager focuses on the execution of daily production objectives in conjunction with cross functional project teams and process engineers. This position is responsible for leading, developing, and mentoring a small team of maintenance technicians and engineers that ensures equipment is fully functional in compliance with business expectation and industry standards, process implementation is adhered to, and strong project management methodologies are being followed.   

Essential Functions, Key Tasks, & Responsibilities: (include the following, other duties may be assigned)

  • Responsible to lead, develop, and mentor a small team of engineers and maintenance technicians
  • Responsible for all functional aspects of equipment associated with manufacturing
  • Willing to be a hands-on engineer who leads by example, shows strong technical ability, and good communication skills
  • Lead and participate in new projects
  • Responsible spare parts management
  • Responsible for manufacturing process implementations as assigned
  • Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering team to implement new processes
  • Knowledge PLC programming (Siemens preferred)
  • Responsible for Total Productive Maintenance System
  • Experience in managing maintenance systems on an industrial scale
  • Experienced in machine troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of industry standards (ISO 9001:2015 / IATF 16949)
  • Ability to create 2D CAD drawings (AutoCAD Preferred)
  • Responsible for CAD layout of manufacturing floor
  • Responsible for maintaining maintenance system in accordance with KPIs
  • Required to incorporate principles of 5S in daily working routine and to support 5S activities throughout the facility
  • Other duties as reasonably assigned

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or Journeyman’s card or Electrician’s license
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience
  • Interpersonal and presentation skills with a diverse group of colleagues
  • Strong skills in SOP and process documentation
  • Strong skills in data analysis and root cause definition
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing practices 

Preferred Qualifications:(Education, Skills, Experience, and/or Languages that are nice to have but not required)

  • IBM Maximo experience
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma implementation
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience
  • CNC or HVAC experience
  • automation experience
  • Some experience with training needs assessment, design and delivery.
  • Must be able to excel in a cross-functional, team-based structure
  • High proficiency in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint), and standard industry software
