Our client is looking for an experienced plumbing and electrical worker to join their Wastewater team as a Maintenance Mechanic. This position will be responsible for inspection and maintenance of wastewater systems for a designated location.

Schedules vary based on need and experience | $45,000 - $60,000/yr | DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY

Job Tasks of a Wastewater Mechanic include: 

• Recognize repair and replacement needs and follow through to completion of repair
• Preform installation, maintenance, and inspections in compliance with government standards
• Preventative maintenance delegation and completion per current needs and job load
• Operates variety of instruments including water jets, inductors, saws, dump trucks, and other needed collection equipment to complete needed job orders
• Complete and maintain reports and records for all completed jobs
• Other duties as assigned

Essential experience of a Wastewater Mechanic include:

• 2 years experience in wastewater infrastructure
• Knowledge of electric motors, water pumps, motor control devices, and relative equipment
• Experience in basic electricity and safety standards
• Waste facility machinery experience

Required education and certifications:

• Must possess valid driver’s license at time of hire and maintain through employment
• Must OBTAIN or CURRENTLY HOLD Commercial driver’s license within SIX MONTHS of hire date
