Title:  Senior Accountant

Job Summary: The Senior Accountant works closely with the Assistant Controller and other members of the Accounting Department to maintain all Accounting Records and Financial Reports for various properties and operating entities within the Company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain accounting records and prepare monthly financial statements for assigned entities.  
  • Responsibilities include management of Accounts Receivable collections and Accounts Payable processing of payments and initiating bank transfers. 
  • Support timely monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals and overall maintenance of all operational reserve accounts.
  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations and analysis for various entities. Investigate, report and correct any account discrepancies.   
  • Identify and participate in the resolution of issues in the financial accounting area such as allocation methodology or accruals.   
  • Assist in the review of all monthly and annually required General Excise Tax filings.
  • Support year end closing and tax preparation for all entities, including preparation of 1099 forms.
  • Assist with loan reporting and compliance as needed.
  • Assist in budget review process annually. 
  • Assist with developing and documenting internal control policies and procedures.

Minimum Experience and Education: 

  • College degree or equivalent of 2 to 4 years experience as an Accountant or in the Accounting/Finance field.
  • Advanced competency in financial management and accounting software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Assist with the coordination of any repairs or office maintenance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of executive or senior management level administrative experience required (eight years preferred)
  • Longevity in previous positions is important (5-7 years)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • High proficient in MS Office Suite, mobile applications, text messaging, Zoom, TEAMS, etc

Pay: Up to $70,000, depending on experience

Premier local restaurant looking for a Cook to work the evening shift!  Hours for the position are 12:30 pm to 9:30 pm.  Full-time position - must be flexible to work any day of the week.

Job description:
Produce and present food products
Demonstrate a current working knowledge of all recipes, and executing within time standards 
Put away stock according to standards
Follow food safety standards and maintain work area
Follow station specific duties and responsibilities
Follow production guides, maintain stock levels and standards in product presentation

Qualifications:
At least three years of previous restaurant/hospitality experience is required
Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, reports, and procedure manuals
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to follow instructions
This position involves regular walking, standing, hearing and talking
May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching
Must be able to move and/or lift at least 45 lbs
Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Must have regular, dependable attendance & punctuality
