Remedy Staffing is currently hiring for our client's finishing department who specializing in manufacturing tents and tarps. 

Shift/Hours: 1st shift. 7AM - 1:30PM

Pay: $15/hour

Job Duties:

The finishing department is responsible for the last step in our manufacturing process. They take completed projects, and measure them before folding or rolling the product, boxing it, and prepping it for shipping. They also install hardware, install fasteners, and other finishing jobs to complete orders. Lifting requirements of 50-60lbs, mostly done in a team setting. Same hours of operation as the rest of production. They also do finished goods inventory at the end of the fiscal year.

Basic skills:

-Basic computer skills

-Able to run a windows computer, basic Excel knowledge

-Ability to learn new programs that are used in house

-Able to navigate, search for, and open files and folders on the computer.

-Basic Math skills

-Able to read a tape measure and work with feet and inches.

-Must be able to work on your feet for 8-10 hours a day

-Basic algebra and geometry skills are a huge plus.

-Attention to small details is a must.
