Remedy Staffing is hiring for a Senior Audit Associate for one of their local CPA firm clients!
Job Duties:
- Prepare audit planning documents, including detailed budgets and work assignments
- Review budget for assigned sections and actively monitor progress against budgeted time
- Gain an understanding of the client's policies and procedures
- Demonstrate basic auditing skills, including account reconciliation, calculations, and analytical procedures
- Develop competency in accounting principles and financial statement presentations
- Obtain a thorough understanding of auditing standards and procedures
- Assume responsibilities to effectively supervise in audit and non-audit engagements
- Complete additional administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in accounting or related field
- 2+ years of experience in accounting
- Must have CPA credentials
- Must possess close attention to detail and organizational skills
