Pay: $18-22/hr

Job Duties of a Set-up Technician:

•Interpret and understand programs mills and lathes by: entering data (including zero and reference points), setting tool registers, offsets, compensation and conditional switches, calculating requirements (basic math, geometry and trigonometry), and proving part programs.

•Prepares the first piece inspection in accordance with company policy and work with quality department for production approval.

•Makes minor &/or major adjustments to machinery to insure that it is operating accurately, safely and efficiently, while production stays within established quality parameters.

•Verifies tool changes, re-sharpening, etc.

•Follows drawings, engineering prints and instructions effectively.

•Supports continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and needs.

•Carryout functions of a machine operator when need arises; encompasses but does not limit the duties and responsibilities listed on the CNC Machine Operator job description.

•To monitor, carry out and abide by company policies.

Job Duties of the Molder:

• Interpret and follow blueprints and work instructions

• Maintains specifications by:
• taking measurements
• detecting malfunctions
• determining causes and resolutions of operating errors
• adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
• Perform required operations of molding process:
• Spray mold surfaces with parting agents into molds to ensure smoothness and prevent sticking or seepage.
• Ensure temperatures for molds sustain proper levels.
• Clean, finish and lubricate molds and molded parts.
• Examine molds for accuracy
• Load the correct amount of material into molds.
• Post molding operations
• Maintain ovens and tools to ensure exceptional quality product.
• Perform other duties as assigned and understand basic machine operating (support as backup CNC Machine Operator when needed).
• To monitor, carry out and abide by company policies.
• Sustains safe operations by following safety procedures and regulations

• Perform visual, in-process, and final inspection of all parts, removing the inlet gates, excessive flashing, and tear trims. Report excessive product defects being produces and/or defective materials to the shift supervisor and/or Quality Tech.
• Ensure all visual standards and process references are adhered to produce conforming parts
• Ensure all parts are properly sorted by product type into designed holding bins, in accordance with our labeling system.
