The Tech Support Analyst is responsible for providing maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT Helpdesk. They will be responsible for administration and internal support of the Company’s PCs, printers, servers, company phones and related equipment. Tasks include end user support and problem solving, license tracking, and performing PC maintenance, setups, upgrades and configurations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Establish the company’s technical vision and leads all aspects of the company’s technological development.
  • Project manages IT and web related installs.
  • Direct the company’s strategic direction, development and future growth.
  • Works in consultative fashion with the Administration Team as an advisor of technologies that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Conduct research and case studies on leading edge technologies and make determinations on the probability of implementation.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Develop network operations budget and ensures operations meet approved budget levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and requested.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in a related field
  • Associates Degree or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 2-4 years equivalent technical experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Experience with standard software applications, including MS Office, Windows.
  • Database management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to details and ability to understand and follow procedures.
  •    Problem solving – Ability to identify problems and the solutions to them.

  • Associates Degree or equivalent

  • Computer skills including Windows 7, Windows 10, Microsoft Office

Basic understanding of networking, virtualization, and Microsoft server-client infrastructure
