Remedy Staffing is seeking part time or full time Labeling Associates in Rochester, NY The Production Labeler provides a crucial function to our bitters product line. The candidate filling this position will apply labels by hand to our products. The resulting look of the finished good is highly desirable in the craft cocktail industry. Products include but are not limited to bitters, botanical waters, brines, mixes and cordial syrups. This position is required to maintain a disciplined focus on quality assurance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Works in a fast-paced environment applying labels to bottles by hand.
  • Expectations for a Production Labeler is to label a case of 12 bottles in the timeframe of 8 - 11 minutes.
  • Acts as a Quality Control Ambassador, with constant diligence looking for issues with products.
  • Conducts inventory checks and assists with ensuring proper inventory levels.
  • Prints product specific bar codes.
  • Labels and stamps bottles and cases by hand.
  • Reports safety and sanitary concerns to management.
  • Awareness of production requirements including products, country specific labels, bottle sizes, and cap and neck bands.
  • Assists office staff with completion of physical inventory counts.
  • Coordinate with office to restock retail store.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or GED and previous experience in warehouse/facilities management, or an equivalent combination of related work experience, training and/or education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job is required.
  • Previous related work experience, training and/or education is a plus.
  • Forklift training is a plus.
