This position provides support for the product development and manufacturing engineering functions within our company. The position requires a working understanding of BOM, methods of assembly, electrical wiring, and basic ERP processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Works under the direction of the VP of Engineering to achieve the goals of the department • Support Production by providing instructions/troubleshooting to orders on the line • Produce and document work instructions for the assembly and wiring of lighting fixtures • Verify/develop accurate standard assembly times for existing and new fixtures • May assist in building prototypes of new products and revisions of existing products • May conduct temperature and wet location tests on new lighting products • Works from written, pictorial or verbal instruction. • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Excellent communication skills. • Moderate MS Office skills; Word, Excel, Power Point • Must have problem resolving skills • Problem solving and critical thinking skills • Mechanical construction, experience with power tools

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: • High School diploma or equivalent required, advanced degree seeking preferred Working Conditions: Work is conducted in an office working environment and manufacturing floor.
