State entity seeking an Epidemiologist!

Job Duties:

  • Assists with designing, implementing, and maintaining data for a portfolio COVID-19 mitigation programs
  • Analyze data and compile information to inform program planning, monitoring, and reporting
  • Writes reports and presents briefings for internal and external audiences
  • Create and / or modify shared documents and processes for communicating among internal and external COVID-19 teams, partners and stakeholders
  • Design and implement program evaluations
  • Serves as a point of contact regarding epidemiologic and program data and use of these data to inform programming
  • Review other projects to resolve questions from stakeholders regarding implementation of new process and policy changes, change in reporting guidance, or other procedural changes.
  • Measure project performance and identify areas of improvement
  • Report on project progress and outcomes as requested  


  • Master’s degree in public health or a closely related field
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience performing epidemiologic work or working in a closely-related fields
  • Knowledge of public health program design and implementation
  • Previous experience in program monitoring and evaluation desired
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of SAS, SPSS, STATA, R, or other statistical software
  • Experience with data management and visualization (e.g., Tableau)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must meet all health requirements, including TB and drug screen, and background check

Pay: $40/hr
