Shift: 1st; 30 - 35 hours/week (hours will be between 8am-4pm and flexible; will work a minimum of 6 hour shifts 5 days per week, but occasionally could work 7 hour days during busy season); will receive a 1/2 hour unpaid break (can be split up in two 15 minute breaks if prefer)

Pay: $14.00/hr

Job Duties of the Customer Care Representative:

  • Make outbound cold calls to prospective clients to in an assigned territory to generate leads and set appointments for the outside salesperson (the goal is at least 60 outbound calls per day)
  • Will ask contacts for information to determine if a lead to pass along to the salesperson
  • Document information in the company-specific computer system
  • Create follow ups as needed and ensure proper follow up is occurring
  • Will also do company research, make/retain information in binders for the salesperson and perform any other additional administrative items as needed

Job Requirements

Qualifications of the Customer Care Representative:

  • Must be comfortable picking up the phone to make outbound calls consistently
  • Must be comfortable working on a computer and navigating thru the system
  • Prior experience making outbound calls is not required as this is trainable
  • Must be able to sit and look at a computer screen/type for the entire shift
