up to $85K salary and bonus available
Manufacturing or Warehouse/distribution industry experience preferred
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Manages employee relations by counseling managers in effective employee coaching and disciplining; promptly responding to complaints and issues; conducting thorough investigations; and completing documentation.
•Manages the recruiting process including but not limited to developing accurate job descriptions, posting positions, selecting and screening candidates, conducting preliminary interviews, facilitating follow up interviews with department heads, and arranging pre-employment screenings.
•Liaison with staffing agencies to provide temporary employee support for all locations.
•Assists employees with new hire paperwork, conducts new hire orientations and clearly communicates the company’s policies and procedures, and state/federal laws.
•Coordinates and facilitates open enrollment meetings at site and process enrollments/changes.
•Compiles and reviews all required documents for weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing including assuring accurate calculations of hours worked on time cards/sheets, change of statuses, special earnings, paid time off requests, and deduction authorizations.
•Reviews and authorizes benefit and staffing agency invoices and resolve discrepancies.
•Assists Safety Manager with workplace injury investigations, including; reporting claims to WC carrier; coordinating treatment.
•Plans and coordinates employee activities to promote company cohesion and morale.
•Maintains employee communication board and legal postings.
•Follows the company’s policies, procedures, and rules.
•Performs other duties as needed.
