Remedy Staffing is seeking a temporary Customer Service Representative in Rochester, NY. This will be a 3 to 6 month contract position.

The Customer Service team’s primary focus is to provide an exceptional customer experience. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for sales order entry and updates, processing returns and credits, issuing basic quotes for custom sized standard product or non-warranty RMAs and supporting customers via email or phone. The team members work as internal liaisons for our customers and field teams; partnering with other departments (including Sales, Marketing, Planning and Operations) to resolve issues or respond to inquiries.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: • Support new order entry in the Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system

• Provide critical support for processing Returned Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) in the ERP system

• Escalate customer concerns and problems that could impact customer satisfaction or revenue recognition

• Consistently review inventory for availability, administer order changes as needed

• Appropriately answer and distribute calls from customers

• Operate with the constraints of shipment cutoff time and establish lead times

Job Requirements

Ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree; High School Diploma or GED and equivalent work experience also will be considered

• At least (3) three years demonstrated success in a Customer Service/Order Management/Field Support or similar environment with evidence of increasing responsibility and growth

• Proven experience with customer service processes within a manufacturing environment

• Previous Life Science or Clinical Industry experience a plus

• Experience working within an ERP system; JD Edwards (JDE) preferred

• Significant experience with managing shared email folders, schedules and tasks within Microsoft Outlook

Outstanding demonstrated verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Proven ability to quickly develop expertise, multi-task, embrace change and innovate in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work collaboratively with virtual teams and processes

• Experience with ERP systems, JDE experience a plus

• Experience using Microsoft suite including: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, etc.

• Good computer skills

• Self-starter, maintains a high ethical standard in customer satisfaction

• Passion to satisfy customer and positive “can do “attitude

• Must have solid time management and exemplary organizational skills

• Display outstanding self-initiative requiring minimal supervision
