Shift: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm Starting payrate: $16.50 (BOE)
Perform all tasks related to welding and fabrication of steel assemblies in a safe and efficient manner. Drawings and either standard or tailored welding procedures. Duties include welding, torch work, manual plasma cutting, metal grinding, rolling and bending, as dictated by each assembly.
-Use of measuring equipment, and ability to measure accurately.
-Perform product specific math, and to read and interpret Engineering Drawings and written welding procedures.
-Setup and operate metal shears, hydraulic presses, saws, metal workers, and various rolling equipment to fabricate components as necessary.
-Know and use all equipment Lock out/Tag out procedures as required. Setup and use all plant welders and torches.
-Use of grinding equipment as needed
-Ability to fabricate and weld all plate hooks
-Familiarity with all fabricated assemblies
-Ability to operate the plasma tables
-Documentation of quality inspection and labor records in accordance with procedures
-Ability to read and comprehend
-Design, manufacture, and implement modifications to work holding methods to securely retain product
-Maintenance of work area in a clean and orderly manner, relying heavily on 5S practices.
-Use skills to fabricate racks, tables, and fixturing -Will require fork truck and hoist operation
