Shift: 1st Shift; 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday

Pay: $16.00 – 18 per hour

Job Duties of the Administrative Assistant:

  • Provide customer service and answer multi-line phone system for the company; transfer calls to appropriate colleague, distribute voicemails received after business hours
  • Greet clients or guests that come to the building; initiate excellent first impression
  • Utilize Microsoft Office to type and proofread a variety of letters and contracts; assist with drafting, proofreading, and editing correspondence for Contract Administration department
  • Coordinate travel for Novum staff; maintain and update travel calendar
  • Update documents and utilize ticketing system within Microsoft Dynamics AX (will train on program)  
  • Perform other clerical and administrative tasks including sending outgoing packages, mail, manage and order supplies; maintain the office vending/coffee machines
  • Read production schedules and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required

Job Requirements


  • Min. Associate's Degree with 1+ year administrative experience, preferably in a construction or engineering related company
  • Proficiency using MS Office (MS Word, Excel PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Experience with MS Dynamics AX is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail with ability to learn quickly
