  • Prepare regular reports and summaries of accounting activities
  • Prepare financial statements and verify recorded transactions and report irregularities to management
  • Represent finance department in daily department meeting with GM
  • Provide direction to the night audit team to ensure proper revenue reporting
  • Review all ledger details to validate proper payment and revenue posting
  • Assist with any imbalances or differences found on ledger
  • Review the postings, payments, revenue and guest balance reports on a daily basis
  • Ensure correct taxation is applied on all billing software including property management systems (PMS, POS and SPA softwares)
  • Bill A/R accounts daily and send to guest along with the supporting bills and statements
  • Forecast cash payments and anticipate challenges from limited cash flow
  • Assist with resolving billing related issues
  • Ensure that cash flows are adequate to allow business units to operate effectively
  • Perform numerical analysis of data and formulating conclusions and/or solutions
  • Approve all commissions and releasing payments after verification.
  • Prepare and presenting financial reports for meetings and investors
  • Work with executives to prepare budgets and track profit / loss performance by business unit
  • Provide direction and training to hotel operational team
  • Manage the accounting team through clear expectations, relevant training, productive coaching, and appropriate performance management
  • Recommend and maintain a system of policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • CA (Charted Accountant) or Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 4-5+ years of related experience and/or training in related hospitality field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills with strong accounting software experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office and experience with property management software (ie. Opera, Room master, Protel, Visual One, Delphi, Sun Finance, Oracle Finance, SAP etc.)
  • Ability to speak effectively to vendors/suppliers, guests and other employees
  • Ability to multi-task while completing tasks in a timely manner
  • Using initiative and independent judgment within established procedural guidelines

Job Duties:

  • Gain proficiency in underwriting new and renewal accounts
  • Submit and update new business, endorsements, cancellation materials to insurance companies to ensure carrier's requirements are met
  • Database management
  • Process transactions

Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred
  • Prior personal lines experience preferred
  • Must be willing to obtain Property & Casualty Solicitors license within a certain timeframe
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $16-17 per hour, depending on experience

Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience and/or training required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties: 

  • Prepare purchase orders for project materials
  • Assist Project Managers with project information 
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors
  • Process estimates in an accurate and timely manner
  • Read plans and specifications
  • Understand scope of work to bid
  • Monitor addendums and scope changes

Qualifications:

  • Previous engineering/architectural experience required
  • 3+ years of construction experience preferred 
  • Must be able to to read architectural plans
  • Proficient with estimating and take offs
  • High attention to detail and must be able to meet deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction projects 

Pay: $65,000+
