Remedy Intelligent Staffing is currently hiring for 1st Shift; Logistics Manager for our valued client in Palmyra. Apply today to be considered for this great opportunity!

Shift: 1st Shift, 5:00am - 3:30pm; Monday - Thursday! (No Weekends)

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00

Job Duties of the Logistics Manager:

Prepare hazardous goods shipping declarations/documents.  Works with various departments on various Shipping related issues.  Ensures daily internal/external customer shipping demands are met.

  • Experience shipping hazardous goods overseas by ocean and air
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong computer knowledge, communication and attention to detail
  • Responsible for compliance with applicable UN, DOT - Road, IMDG - Ocean-Sea and IATA - Air rules and regulations
  • Work closely with Freight Forwarders to manage international and Domestic shipments
  • Tracking changes
  • Responsible to manage shipping software programs; such as Label Master DIGIS program, UPS web based program and FedEx web based program

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Previous experience with Logistics
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Attention to Detail
  • Organizational Skills
  • Driven
  • Strong communicator by phone, email, etc.
