Remedy Staffing in seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic in Windsor, VA for an exciting temp to hire opportunity!

Pay: $23

Shift: 4pm-12:30am Sunday-Thursday

Description:

Maintenance Mechanic / Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility machinery.

 

?         Light industrial welding and fabrication skills.

?         Troubleshooting, corrective and preventive maintenance of automated conveyor systems.

?         Troubleshooting of pneumatic valves and systems.

?         Understanding of motor control wiring and both AC and DC electrical troubleshooting techniques.

?         Troubleshooting, corrective and preventive maintenance of forklift equipment.

?         Troubleshooting, corrective and preventive maintenance on hydraulic systems for baling and lift equipment.

?         Basic knowledge of operation and maintenance of HVAC systems.

?         Basic knowledge of facility maintenance (plumbing, lighting, carpentry, etc…)

?         Other duties as assigned 

Requirements:

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Advanced skills required in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, plumbing, carpentry, and piping systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to perform basic computer applications.
  • Ability to perform basic welding skills.
  • Proof of previous fork truck driving experience a plus
