Remedy Staffing is seeking a production worker in Rochester, NY! The Production & Maintenance Worker aids in the production, bottling and labeling of beverage ingredients for the craft cocktail industry including but not limited to: bitters, botanical waters, brines, mixes and cordial syrups. This position is required to put safety first, maintain a disciplined focus on quality assurance, and support team members while addressing a variety of work projects in daily work routines. This position is also responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of Company facilities at all times.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Works on fast paced production line, rotating machines and duties.
- Acts as a Quality Control Ambassador, with constant diligence looking for issues with products.
- Sets up, utilizes, takes-down, cleans and performs maintenance on:
- Hand or machine labeler;
- Bottle filling machines;
- Capping machines;
- Banding machines;
- Filters and hose connections; and
- Pumps.
- Performs various cleaning duties and maintenance of the facility including but not limited to:
- Cleans bathrooms and common areas;
- Sweeps;
- Mops;
- Picks up trash and sorts recycling.
- Conducts inventory checks and assists with ensuring proper inventory levels.
- Prints product specific bar codes.
- Labels and stamps bottles by hand and cases of flat cartons.
- Reports safety and sanitary concerns to management.
- Awareness of production requirements including products, bottle sizes, and cap and neck bands.
- Assists office staff with completion of physical inventory counts.
- Coordinate with office to restock retail store.
- Ensures safety at all times.

- High School diploma or GED and previous experience in warehouse/facilities management, or an equivalent combination of related work experience, training and/or education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job is required.
- Previous related work experience, training and/or education is a plus.
- Forklift training is a plus.
