Quality Assurance Coordinator/  Angola, NY/ 1^st Shift

An established and growing Angola, NY Manufacturer is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Coordinator to work with production personnel to maintain regulatory compliance to enforce established product specifications.

Quality Assurance Coordinator Responsibilities:

•  Responsible for maintaining established quality control standards in the areas of incoming materials, product preparation and packaging
•  Maintaining quality evaluation standards in the analysis of taste, color, flavor, texture, consistency, water content, seasoning levels, bacterial content, etc.
•  Conducting quality audits of warehoused product, competing products and consumer complaint analysis
•  Assisting in the formulation and test packing of new products.
•  Insuring that all company, state and federal wastewater standards are being consistently met or exceeded

Quality Assurance Coordinator Requirements:

• Previous quality control experience required

Basic Function: Responsible for performing routine machine operations according to blueprint specifications and other documentation provided.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine repetitive machine operations according to routing sheet and established standards on various machines to include but not limited to drill press, milling machine, broach, turret lathe, grinder, hone, blast cabinet, automatic or semi-automatic drilling machine, CNC lathes and milling machines.

• Follow established company safety procedure.

• With supervision, make simple tool changes and machine adjustments.

• Burr and evaluate parts according to blueprint specifications.

• Inspect parts for conformance to specifications using industry approved methods.

• Assist in shipping operations by cleaning and packing parts.

• Move parts between machines and wash area.

• Maintain production work areas and machines in a clean and safe manner.

• Document daily activity on production ticket.

• Read and understand the routing instructions of assigned jobs.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Additionally:

• Perform all responsibilities stated above, plus but not limited to operation of CNC lathes and mills, and CMM measuring equipment.

• Make complex tool changes and machine adjustments using hand tools on an on going basis with supervision.

• Apply knowledge of statistical process control to inspect parts.

• Operate and adjust CNC lathes and mills to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations where programs are proven and setups are completed and maintained. Make tool changes and offset changes

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Experience: Prior machine operator experience helpful.

Position Reports To: Precision Department Team Leader

Compensation: $18 + Depending on experience

Forklift Driver (Material Handler)/  Orchard Park, NY/ 3^rd Shift 

An experienced Forklift Driver (Material Handler) is needed for a growing and established Orchard Park, NY Manufacturer!

Shift:

3rd: 12:00 am to 8:00 am  Monday-Friday 

Material Handler Responsibilities:

• Keeping all running machines supplied with material and concentrate.
• Correctly filling out appropriate documentation for material allocation, material identification, production cards, special instructions tags and labels.
• Collecting and grinding scrap parts and runners.
• Tumbling material per specifications as required.
• Cleaning and /or filling hoppers and dryers as required.
• Relieving operators for breaks and lunches
• Keeping a clean and neat work area
• Communicate effectively with preceding and succeeding shift Material Handler on a daily basis.
• Performing miscellaneous duties as assigned

 Material Handler Qualifications:

• Previous material handling/forklift experience
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movement.
• Must be able to work safely in accordance with Company policies and procedures
• Ability to work in a team environment

Forklift Operator (Material Handler)/  Clarence, NY/ 2nd Shift 

Remedy is partnered with a well- established and growing Clarence, NY Manufacturer to identify a Material Handler to load, unload and move materials/products within the facility for prompt and accurate access to shipping and/or production based upon the needs of the company and the customer. Must have experience on a propane driven forklift.  This individual will work mostly on the tow motor so they need to be able to move heavy steel loads around corners and high shelving.

Shift:

2nd: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm  Monday-Friday 

Material Handler Responsibilities:

• Operating lifting devices, such as forklifts, cranes, hoists, and pallet jack to load, unload, transport, or stack material.
• Positioning lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.
• Reading work orders or follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
• Recording job activities, including counts, utilizing labor reporting system.
• Communicating with co-workers and supervisor to receive instructions and coordinate activities.
• Performing all job functions to meet acceptable quality and performance standards.
• Maintaining accurate count of parts; attaches labels or tags to processed material identifying customer, part number, quantity and shop order information.

Material Handler Requirements:

• Must have experience on a propane driven forklift. 
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• 1 – 2 years manufacturing experience
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
