3. Production Line welding operations of the Welder C comprise at least 20% of his/her regular daily workload.
4. Inspects his/her own work to detect any welding defects and re-welds as necessary.

JOB SUMMARY:

1. Performs a broad range of assembly and installation tasks.
2. May perform assembly and installation work directly on the bus, or indirectly on the bus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Refers to the production worker order to verify chassis model and to determine dismantling procedures and bus building requirements for stations 1 and 3.
2. Covers the windshield and dashboard with protective material, and removes windshield wipers, sun visors, floor mats and other specified dashboard components. Sometimes removes the entire dashboard. Catalogues the items by work order number (bus number) for future use, boxes the materials and delivers them to the sub assembly station.
3. Drills holes and installs plus plugs where specified.
4. Relocates the chassis ground wire.
5. Sets a template over the cab roof, marks an outline for the removal of the roof and passenger doorframe. Uses the template to drill specified holes in the cab and doorframe areas, and then uses a chisel and saw to cut out the un-needed roof and doorframe sections. Trims the cut edges, removes tendrils and discards the scrap.
6. Shortens chassis fuel hose in accordance with engineering specifications.
7. Installs heater shut-off valves and caps off hoses.

JOB SUMMARY
1. Under the general supervision of the Paint Department Supervisor, the Painter performs all of the tasks required of a painter.

2. Category One: Paints prepared fabricated bus body surfaces and exterior parts, including Step Frames, Emergency Doors, and Handicap Doors.
3. Category Two: Paints bus bodies and exterior bus body parts with multi-color finish coats as required by the production work order
4. The Painter inspects areas to be painted to ensure that the finish coat will meet specifications, then follows applicable painting procedures to apply the finish coat.

They use good housekeeping practices to maintain a hazard and dust free working environment. The Painter carries out all additional painting related tasks that may be assigned by his/her supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Follows prescribed paint department procedures prior to making repairs and painting.
2. Washes unpainted bus body or unpainted external parts to be painted using prescribed organic cleaners.
3. Checks entire bus body for any defects in the paint and repairs where needed.
4. Re-checks caulking to ensure completeness. Re-caulks as needed.
5. Washes entire bus body with prescribed organic cleaner, and wipes down windows with dry rags.
6. Cleans the paint booth and all paint spraying equipment and tools used in the painting process with appropriate organic solvent.

Logistics Assistant/ Tonawanda, NY

A Logistics Assistant/ Administrative Assistant is needed for an international and rapidly growing Tonawanda, NY Manufacturer to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• On time shipping – support the on-time execution of a customer request, this is reflected in the score cards provided by our customers.
• Tracking production, inventory, and maximizing order fulfilment into Full truck load – Management of the sales dollars projected to ship for the month.
• Properly documenting and keying in (data entry) ensuring shipping documentation is acceptable by the customer standards and when executed properly processed through our Data System. 
• Working with suppliers and agents to arrange proper in-transit permissions on shipments to various locations
• Responsible for the company’s import permit and export license processes
• Preparing various import/export/supplier forms for submittal to various agents BATF, Commerce/State, Department and U.S. Customs
• Preparing required documents for Suppliers and documents to release goods at the U.S. Port and reviews and sign off entry for the broker to complete entry with U.S. Customs
• Managing all necessary documents processed to submit to necessary agencies timely
• Working with Government Agencies when they arrive in the facility
• Preparing export documents working with forwarders and customer to ship out
• Backing up to Compliance/Traffic/Procurement position as needed
• Monitoring production entries in QAD system and build truckloads per customer requirements
• Making quantity changes to orders in QAD as needed
• Communicating truckloads and release timing with customer to coordinate shipments

Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and/or Supply Chain/Operations/Logistics, or related degree
• 0-3 years of experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Some MRP/ERP knowledge preferred (planning systems, we run on QAD)

Job Summary: Responsible for performing all required operating procedures and running production equipment for one packaging as well as one palletizing equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Set up, operate and clean all assigned equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.

· Ensure caser coders, sealers, conveyer controls and robot/palletizer are operating correctly and troubleshoot when errors arise.

· Clear any jam-ups and restore production line operation.

· As required, set up, operate and clean the following equipment: python, repro-tank, bundler, bailer, trash compactor and foamer, while completing all required documentation.
