ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following. Other duties might be assigned:
- Resume Required
- Must be open to working 12 hours, 1st or 3rd shift; 3-2-2-3 schedule.
- Operate one or all slitters and the rewinders as a member of the Production Team who is multi-skilled and cross-trained on all department process equipment.
- Provide leadership to packer in performing quality slitting and meeting manufacturing goals.
- Proficient at process trouble shooting including visual defect detection.
- Provide training to the packer or new employees on all equipment and processes.
- Read and understand work orders for current jobs and upcoming jobs including specifications.
- Maintain accurate paperwork, SAP/ PDC functions for jobs.
- Perform all quality checks and make slitter and rewinder adjustments during start-up
