Forklift Operators Needed!

Our client, located in Muscatine, is an internationally known logistics company in need of fork truck drivers on 1st Shift.

They have a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment in a forklift position.

It is a temp-to-hire position for the right candidate!

Job Responsibilities:

As a Forklift Operator, you will check inbound and outbound products, and ensure they are free of damage

You will load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using power equipment

You will pull and prepare product for shipment

Complete records and reports for inventory accuracy

Ensure product code dates are properly recorded and products match customer requirements

Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards

Verifying load accuracy, checking the load count, stability, and product damage, reporting any variances as necessary

Maintain facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion

Assisting in physical inventories

Perform daily inspection of equipment, charge units as needed and follow all fork truck safety rules.

Skills:

Must be able to follow written and oral instructions including reading production schedules, customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders

Previous experience in crating and boxing product for shipment

Fork truck experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Must be able to stand, sit, reach, grasp, turn, bend, and twist body to reach product and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
