Manufacturing company located in Havana, FL is looking for a great candidate for the following position:
SUMMARY: Complete Offline setup for SMT products, to ensure minimum amount of SMT online setup time. Duties include kit verification, loading feeders, pulling required tools & documentation to ensure that all items are prepared for efficient final SMT setup on the line prior to run. Frequently will be required to operate tape & reel machine for less-than-reel quantities or bulk parts. Generally works from verbal instructions & priorities, written procedures and bills of material.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties will be assigned.
Offline Setup Operator I: Able to efficiently and accurately complete the following duties for a variety of SMT assemblies that vary in number of parts, part types and complexity.
Kit Verification (receiving kit, counting PCB's (less X-outs), labeling boards, etc.) Print changeover checklist & BOMI 13; verify materials on BOM to TEMS part number;
Resolve shortages (missing parts or incorrect quantities);
Pull and clean stencils;
Pull MPI from Doc Control;
Copy assembly drawings as needed
Tape & Reel parts as needed for efficient SMT placement by machine;
Load feeders using setup sheets with proper part orientations;
Load hand-placed parts in ESD bins, labeled with part# and Ref Designator.
Completion of Level A and Level B SMT Operator training as soon as practical (minimum);
Level C Operator Training desirable in preparation for assisting on the SMT line as needed Offline Setup Operator I must pass Basic Soldering Training and be able to perform rework of mis-placed or missing parts.
