Shift: 3rd Shift

Pay: $18 per hour

Job Duties:

• Operates slitting machine to slit continuous lengths of material (such as labels & plastic flexible packaging) into strips of specified width.

• Sets up and adjusts rotary blades on machine shaft according to specified width on job ticket.

• Mounts roll of material on machine supports and threads material between feed rollers, and under rotary blades.

• Observes slitting process to ensure machine is cutting properly and stops and adjusts machine as irregularities occur.

• Perform quality checks on finished rolls and ensure all completed roles are properly identified and all paperwork is completed. Qualifications: 

• Prior manufacturing experience required

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
