 Responsibilities Include:

• Countersink metal work in compliance with customer, company, and OSHA standards and requirements.
• Handling metal parts with precision and accuracy while inspecting for imperfections or defects 
• Buffs minor cosmetic blemishes and nicks from parts during “down time” for grinders
• Magnetic Particle inspects any parts staged for Magna Flux
• Performs final inspection audits and jobs
• Utilizing basic gages to verify tolerances indicated by blueprints and/or sample parts
• Performing routine preventative maintenance

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED or vocational training.
• Combination of education, experience, and training may be substituted for these requirements. 

• One (1) to two (2) years of experience using basic manufacturing tools and equipment such as grinders, drills, presses, measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, or fixed or telescopic gauges, and etc.
• Working knowledge of the Manufacturing Industry
• Ability to work various schedules including nights and weekends. 
• Detail oriented with excellent hand/ eye coordination.
• Basic math skills with or without a calculator.

Clean Room Operator •Operates machinery and packs parts to meet quality and production standards. This may include a group of machines or a single manually attended machine.

•Works with Set-up personnel and Process Technicians to maintain production schedules and customer delivery dates.

•Works with other operators to maintain and improve the working environment. Can recommend changes and improvements to procedures and processes that would benefit the company.

•Maintain documentation and paperwork to support production activities such as problems encountered and/or machines that they have been assigned and are responsible for. Maintain detailed records as described in SOPs and other job specific procedures

•Takes training from Supervisor, Set-up personnel and Process Technicians to enhance knowledge and experience in all aspects of the operation.

•Works with the Quality department personnel to be sure they understand and maintain current quality standards.

•Responsible for the housekeeping and safety of their work areas. •Flexible and able to work in all areas assigned to meet customer requirements.

•Strict adherence to cGMP standards and clean room operating procedures and pass/maintain training requirements for Excelsior, Karma, Periscope and other clean room specific products.

•Attend to all levels of sophisticated automation, troubleshoot common problems with that and be able to stop, restart automation and/or molding machinery.

•Capable of working in non-clean room manufacturing environment based on production needs
