JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for mass-production of varying models of oil-free compressors by performing and participating in component parts preparation and line assembly operations. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

• Places parts in specified relationship to each other and bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together.
• Tends machines, such as hydraulic or pneumatic presses, air wrenches, or other tools to perform force fitting, fastening and/or bonding operations on the assembly line.
• Is trained on, and works at, various tasks including mechanical assembly, operating pressure test stands, functional testing, preparation, material handling and other related operations as required.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace.
• Responsible for understanding and complying with quality policy, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals and environmental well-being.

Job Summary:

Performs duties to insure the timely and proper movement of material in the warehouse to shipping locations to meet delivery deadlines. A warehouse material handler is part of a team performing several functions necessary to maintain a well-organized warehouse. On the shipping side of warehouse operations, the material handler receives orders and uses a forklift to retrieve pallets for order fulfillment. After the pallet is retrieved, the material handler places it in a shipping area so it can be loaded onto a truck for shipment. Then, the material handler updates the company system to indicate that the shipment is in progress. 

Essential Functions, Key Tasks, & Responsibilities:(include the following, other duties may be assigned) 

• Process incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Accurately verify item and quantities against supplier packing lists.
• Paperwork on products and quantities shipped/received
• Maintain accurate control and location of stock movement.
• Accurate movement of stock between the warehouse and stocking locations.
• Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks.
• Maintain FIFO (First-In-First-Out)
• Maintain accurate cycle counts.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Package, ship and receive orders via UPS, DHL, Federal Express, Airborne, conventional air and common LTL carriers.
• Available to work overtimes and weekends as needed 

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified or licensed to operate material handling equipment i.e. like forklifts

SUMMARY: Complete Offline setup for SMT products, to ensure minimum amount of SMT online setup time. Duties include kit verification, loading feeders, pulling required tools & documentation to ensure that all items are prepared for efficient final SMT setup on the line prior to run. Frequently will be required to operate tape & reel machine for less-than-reel quantities or bulk parts. Generally works from verbal instructions & priorities, written procedures and bills of material.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties will be assigned.

Offline Setup Operator I: Able to efficiently and accurately complete the following duties for a variety of SMT assemblies that vary in number of parts, part types and complexity.

 Kit Verification (receiving kit, counting PCB's (less X-outs), labeling boards, etc.)  Print changeover checklist & BOMI 13; verify materials on BOM to TEMS part number;

 Resolve shortages (missing parts or incorrect quantities);

 Pull and clean stencils;

 Pull MPI from Doc Control;

 Copy assembly drawings as needed

 Tape & Reel parts as needed for efficient SMT placement by machine;

 Load feeders using setup sheets with proper part orientations;

 Load hand-placed parts in ESD bins, labeled with part# and Ref Designator.

 Completion of Level A and Level B SMT Operator training as soon as practical (minimum);

Level C Operator Training desirable in preparation for assisting on the SMT line as needed  Offline Setup Operator I must pass Basic Soldering Training and be able to perform rework of mis-placed or missing parts.
