Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Successfully prepare extrusion lines and assist in the completion of the line set-ups per company spec’s and standard work instructions within assigned business unit.
  • Inspect parts for surface quality, color, profile appearance and dimensions, complete quality checks as necessary.
  • Complete all necessary production paperwork in a timely manner during the course of the work shift.
  • Validate process is stable through dimensional checks and consultation with Operators and make adjustments as necessary
  • Pull tooling, prep and make minor repairs to tooling and equipment as needed during the set-up of equipment.
  • Train Line Operators on equipment, tooling, material, etc. Help Operators complete their Operator training books.
  • Must be able to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift

About our Maintenance Tech position:

  • Direct Hire
  • Pay Rate: $21-$25/hr 
  • 8 hour shift (45-50 hours per week)

Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with our manual/computerized maintenance management system to track work orders and preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and improvement activities including work with PLC’s
  • Troubleshoot the following:

ü  Various types of AC/DC drives to include: Indramat, Siemens, ABB, Hitachi and Reliance

ü  Mechanical systems including shafts, bearing, gear drives, chain drives etc.

ü  Pneumatic and fluid systems such as compressed air and chilled water

ü  110VAC-600VAC electrical issues, which will include both single phase and three phase appliances, motors, contractors and transformers

ü  Control voltage level electrical issues (24 VDC), including sensors, circuit boards, actuators, relays, etc.
