Local company seeking a Tax Accountant!
Job Duties:
- Prepare and file tax documents for personal, business and GE/TA returns
- Perform general ledger postings to current client accounting records
- Advise clients in the tax preparation process
- Reconcile bank/credit card statements on a monthly basis
- Provide management with financials for review and approval
- Set up tax preparation appointments and post monthly journal entries
- Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions
- Determine tax savings and recommend strategies to improve client profits
- Promote services to expand client base
Qualifications:
- Active CPA license preferred
- 3-5+ years of tax experience
- QB Pro Advisor certification and tax audit experience preferred
- Impeccable mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Must be proficient in QB Online software
Pay: $40K-$70K, depending on experience and credentials
