Journeyman Requirements:

  • 5- 7 years’ specializing in Electrical Trade in an industrial setting.  Be able to work Monday – Friday, 7am-3:30pm
  • Be able to work overtime when necessary (including weekends)
  • Be able to read blueprints & shop drawings
  • Be able to read and properly use a tape measure
  • Possess the ability to work on a computer (logging on/off work orders)
  • Must be a team player, Be dependable, Possess good communication skills and good listening skills
  • Be willing to learn and be trainable/teachable
  • REQUIRED: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record – if you can provide proof include when submitting candidate
  • Be able to meet the physical demands as outlined in the job description (position requires constant movement: bending, lifting, moving materials)
  • Forklift / Pallet rider Preferred

Maintenance Electrician Responsibilities:

  • Ability to install and repair all production and building equipment, including automated machine tools, special purpose machines, fans, compressors, HVAC and related operations involved in repairing buildings, power and light circuits and electrical and electronic controls.
  • Able to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams or blue prints.
  • Must demonstrate ability to perform at Journeyman Level
  • Demonstrate knowledge of NEC Standards
  • Troubleshoot all types of 208/480 volt motor controls and switch gear
  • Diagnose problems, disassemble, determine extent or repairs necessary, requisition or make up repair parts, assemble, test and adjust.
  • Preventative Maintenance of  switch gear, transformers, panels, lighting equipment and all other plant equipment
  • Responsible for additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or as deemed necessary by management.
  • Extensive team participation and leadership
  • Production Dept. and equipment operations.

Electronic Technician Required Education/Skills/Experience:

  • Proficient in utilizing electrical (480V & under)/electronic test equipment for the purposes of debugging and repairing solid state equipment control (digital logic) systems
  • Minimum of 2  years of experience as an Electronic Technician or equivalent education in the field.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Must have working knowledge of control systems and programming languages used in industrial machinery.
  • Able to work from schematics, sketches, written and verbal instructions, and able to efficiently complete assignments in a timely manner under a minimum of supervision.

Electronic Technician Responsibilities:

  1. Handle varying degrees of complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic work assignments efficiently to install and debug new equipment, and make modifications to repair production machinery.
  2. Must have experience in programing PLC’s, HMI’s, VFD’s and Servos.
    • Allen Bradley experience is a plus.
  3. Responsible for startup and shut down functions of all department equipment as dictated by production schedule.
  4. Responsible for trouble shooting and fixing electrical control and machine flow problems on production equipment.
  5. Able to troubleshoot and repair Ink Coderes, Laser Coders, Temperature controllers, PID Loops, Instrumentation, as well as PLC,HMI, Servos, and basic electrical controls.
  6. Provide support to parts department in ensuring that spare parts inventory of necessary electronic components is available and make required shop repairs.
  7. Communicate with vendors in updating existing equipment with suitable replacement parts.
  8. Communicate process/mechanical abnormalities to Group Leader and Supervisor to facilitate corrections in a timely manner.
  9. Maintain production, batch, and quality records as required
  10. Provide support to maintain quality control of materials and quarantine material as required.  
  11. Must have more than 2 years experience.

Job  Description:

The Quality Inspector works in a manufacturing environment with responsibilities that include inspecting, testing, sampling, and sorting products/goods being manufactured, inspections of incoming materials and components, in process subassemblies, and finished products. The QA inspector is required to have technical knowledge of all quality standards and testing equipment and will conduct a range of testing, counting, identification and/or recording procedures to maintain departmental workflow. 

 

Essential Functions:

  • QA inspectors reviews protocols, qualification, and validation procedures documented by the organization and follows those procedures. If a manufactured product does not meet quality specifications, the QA inspector investigates and reports production line failures to management.
  • Performs assigned routine tests on incoming materials and components, in process subassemblies, and finished products where results are compared with company quality standards.
  • Inspects incoming materials and components, in process subassemblies, and finished products per applicable QC procedures.
  • Follows specific procedures to reject non-conforming product. Report and communicate failures and discrepancies for disposition by management. 
  • Performs detailed inspections when necessary to determine quality of product where limits are not clearly defined.
  • Notifies supervisor when inspection data exceeds acceptable limits or when major incidents of poor quality are noted and follows specific procedures to reject non-conforming product.
  • Establishes and records results on applicable documents and includes documents in device history record. Maintain records relating to released lots of final product for traceability.
  • Reviews QC procedures for accuracy and completeness.  Notifies the Quality Lab Supervisor when discrepancies are found.
  • Performs other tasks or duties as directed by the Quality Lab Supervisor and/or the Manager of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Must possess strong math skills, good language, reading and writing skills (English)
  • Regulated industry experience preferred. Exposure to Medical Devised & cGMP a plus.
  • Ability to set priorities & manage high volume work load; Must be self-motivated with flexibility to accommodate changing needs and requirements; Dependable and reliable with good attendance record.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Basic computer knowledge with Data Entry experience in various applications (Word, Excel,& others).
