Westaff is currently looking for a 1st shift temp to hire import/export shipping coordinator for a leading global transportation provider in the Metairie, La. area.
Pay Range – $16 - $20 (DOE)
Hours - 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday
Import/Export Shipping Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Plan in advance the deliveries of import shipments while these shipments are still at sea
- Track and monitor import shipments upon arrival from sea
- Data entry skills to maintain multiple spreadsheets
Requires:
- Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of National/International Shipping documents
- Import/Export knowledge
