Hours: 5am - 3pm

Quality Assurance Supervisor Duties:

• Implements and manages all HACCP Programming the plant to insure regulatory compliance 
• Monitor GMP's in the plant and assures strict adherence to the program
• Records deficiencies and reports these deficiencies to the Technical Services Manager and the Plant Manager
• Communicates these deficiencies to all QA staff and line personnel
• Manages all SSOP programs in the plant to insure regulatory compliance and food safety
• Monitor all other QA technicians ability to record data accurately and legible
• Corrects paperwork issues as they occur and explains this to the technician
• Files all paperwork in accordance with the Technical Services Manager's direction
• Enforces programs in the plan
• Corrects all issues in accordance to QA programs
• Follows up on issues and makes sure proper corrective actions take place

Education and/or Experience:

• Preferred: Minimum of 2 years previous experience in food processing / manufacturing environment
• Preferred: Previous QA Lead Technician experience
• Knowledge of Quality processes and systems including but not limited to: HACCP, SSOPs, And GMPs
• Intermediate level computers skills
• Ability to communicate to all levels of staff and management
• Bilingual English/Spanish a HUGE plus
