Local company seeking a HR Assistant!

Job Duties:

  • Recruit, identify, and screen candidates
  • Schedule and conduct interviews
  • Manage all HR related inquiries or requests
  • Maintain employee records and complete termination paperwork
  • Oversee benefit documentation and compensation
  • Plan and organize HR related events
  • Generate employment contracts and perform reference checks
  • Coordinate training sessions and seminars
  • Perform new hire orientation and onboarding
  • Process payroll and submit reports
  • Assist with performance management procedures
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred
  • 2-3+ years of previous HR experience  
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions, including payroll and Labor Law
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and problem solve
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and able to work efficiently  

Pay: Up to $45,000, depending on experience
