Local company seeking a Sales Manager!

Job Duties:

  • Develop and communicate accurate sales forecasts to ensure sufficient inventory levels
  • Manage and develop strategic customer relationships for long term success
  • Use data, information systems, and metrics around retail and shopper trends to maximize market share, sales, and profits
  • Develop and execute strategies and plans to achieve profitable growth in sales and market share
  • Assess each retailer by its sales and profit growth prospect and segment into strategic priority
  • Articulate each retail strategic segment by trade support and promotional funding, including promotional planning
  • Analyze and recommend effective unique promotional drivers to differentiate customer support
  • Work with Merchandising team to ensure 100% on-time-in-full stocking and high-quality presentation
  • Drive efficiency and effectiveness in trade spend, route-to-market and merchandising
  • Provide training to Merchandising and Branch Manager to ensure quality and consistent retail execution

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience as a sales executive or similar role
  • Prior experience with Packaged Goods preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and must be able to multi-task
  • Self-starter and able to time manage effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to drive to different locations (Valid driver’s license required)

Pay: $55,000 - $80,000, depending on experience
