  • Complete construction conversions and prepares supporting documents to convert loans to a long-term mortgage
  • Troubleshoot and tests changes and system updates in the loan origination/closing system as directed.
  • Compiles, updates, and maintains Closing Department procedures as needed and serve as a resource to other closers

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in the residential mortgage lending field, primarily in mortgage documentation
  • Familiarity with lending and closing requirements for secondary market investors, government insuring agencies and private mortgage insurance companies
  • Knowledge of Federal and State Compliance Regulations
  • Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Detailed knowledge of the closing process and functions of a loan origination/documentation system
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Strong technical computer skills use and able to utilize various data base programs
  • Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to review loan disclosures and documents to ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements

  • Approve all commissions and releasing payments after verification.
  • Prepare and presenting financial reports for meetings and investors
  • Work with executives to prepare budgets and track profit / loss performance by business unit
  • Provide direction and training to hotel operational team
  • Manage the accounting team through clear expectations, relevant training, productive coaching, and appropriate performance management
  • Recommend and maintain a system of policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • CA (Charted Accountant) or Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 4-5+ years of related experience and/or training in related hospitality field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills with strong accounting software experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office and experience with property management software (ie. Opera, Room master, Protel, Visual One, Delphi, Sun Finance, Oracle Finance, SAP etc.)
  • Ability to speak effectively to vendors/suppliers, guests and other employees
